Mobile fruit shop is a fruit shop who has no building. They use a car or pickup car or a truck that parked on the street and selling the fruits directly to people who pass on this street.
SELLING THE FRUITS ON THE PICKUP CAR
Mostly the seller from other province or island who brought the fruits from their hometown (village) and sell it in the big cities. So, they get profit from the difference price. Somehow their price still cheaper than other place because they don’t need to pay for rent a building.

When you have a trip that pass remote villages, don’t hesitate to stop at simple shop who sell the tropical fruits. This kind of shop usually harvest the fruits from their own garden. There are so many factors why the tropical fruits become expensive or cheaper in Bali. Some of them are: Distance from the source (plantation), Harvest time (fruit season), Hindus Special Day (Kuningan, Galungan, Pagerwesi and Nyepi Day), Anomalic weather, Pest attack, Touristic area, etc.
