– Batubulan Micro/Mini Bus Station.
– Ubung Micro/Mini Bus Station.

*) It’s really not efficient trip using public transport in Bali. Waste your time, energy and money. There is no fixed price in Bali transportation system, except Trans Sarbagita bus. If the passenger full loaded you will get the price listed above, but if quiet (little) passenger you will pay more expensive. Seems they applied operational cost basis since the public transport not so popular today (quiet).

**) You can also use Go-jek or Grab transport. Their price reasonable, but you have to install the apps first and the driver may not be able to speak english.

***) You can also use Perama shuttle bus. Their price is reasonable, but you have to check their schedule first on their website for booking: Perama Shuttle Bus.

GOOD TIPS WHEN IN THE FAST BOAT TRIP:

1. Windproof jacket.

Bringing wind visor jacket might be a wise choice. It will be a windy trip because the boat quiet fast. Other option you can use a scarf.

2. Sun glasses.

Sometime it will be sunny day on the boat. Also water splash sometime come to passenger position. It depend on the wind direction actually. In this case i recommend you to bring your glasses. A Sunglasses even better.

3. Seat Position.

If you can not tolerate to be shaken, better you choose seat position in the back side. Front side more stronger than back side. This straits facing Indonesia ocean. So, the waves sometime higher and strong. Mid day and late afternoon trip usually more shaken up than morning.

4. Short.

Wearing a short is a nice idea. Sanur port is not really a seaport. It just a beach. That’s why you will getting wet when reaching the boat.

Well, there are so many fast boat company in Sanur harbour actually.
You can check it on Google review about their services.

      Hi Mike Green,

Yes, Sanur harbour is relative safe actually.
It more safe than Kuta, Canggu and Seminyak area.
But, you still need to double lock it.
      Also lock your helmet too.
It just to avoid something bad to your scooter.
Yes, i had experience parking my scooter there.
There are some parking space in Jalan Hang tuah street and Jalan Matahari Terbit street.
For scooter parking i recommend you at Jalan Hang tuah street.

    Wow…great article.
    Very useful and detailed.
Finally I took a fast boat from Kusamba harbour rather than Sanur port.
    It’s cheaper than Sanur.
Thank you for the informative post.

    1. kunzbali Post author

      You’re welcome.
Well, for some reason people choose Sanur port.
Could be close to their hotel.
Also could be the price include pick up at hotel.
Could be also they don’t want to waste time for overland trip.
As you know it’s quiet far to Kusamba port.

I agree the boat price in Kusamba harbour cheaper than Sanur harbour.

    Hello Kunzbali,

Do you think is good to take a fast boat in the morning or afternoon? Which time the tide isn’t high?
    Thanks.

    1. kunzbali Post author

      Hello Mark,

Well the tide condition is not related to morning or afternoon.
But, it depend on the sun & moon position, wind speed, weather, etc.
But, in general in the morning has no strong wind.
So, it’s relative not shaky taking a boat in the morning.

Thank you for update information about access to Gili Trawangan.
I think is better for me swap it to Lembongan.

    1. kunzbali Post author

Yes, you can’t visit Gili islands in this moment.
Better you visit Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida instead.
      Have a nice trip!

All the attractions in Nusa Penida closed from March 21st until 30th, 2020 due to Corona virus.
Even on March 22nd, 2020 the Klungkung regent already ultimatum the Fast/Speed boat operator.

  4. Anna Smirnova

    Hi,
I saw the access to Sanur beach are closed.
Do you think the access to Sanur port are closed too?
I think i’d like to do isolation in Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida.

    1. kunzbali Post author

I think all the access to Sanur beach are closed.
I think it’s include the access to Sanur port.
But, some fast/speed boat are still available.
They serve the local people only, not tourist.
Also bring some goods/things to Nusa Penida and Lembongan.
As the Klungkung regent already released instruction,
all the boat operator not allowed to bring any tourist or traveler.
I think you need to cancel your plan.
