WHAT IS BANJAR HOT SPRING?
Banjar hot spring or local well known as Air Panas Banjar is a natural hot springs located in the north of Bali. It has nice atmosphere since it surrounded by tropical gardens. A good place for chill out, relax and spoil your body.
Banjar hot springs consist of three pools in one area. First pool supplied by eight dragon statues pouring the natural hot water. The second pool supplied by five dragons. The third pool supplied by three hot water pouring from 3 meter height. It can be used for therapy or massage your body. The water can be used for healing the skin disease since it contain sulfuric water. It can be seen from the orange sedimentation at several points
During the Japanese occupation in Indonesia on the World War II, they improved the building on the pool area. The Japanese army was known as hot spring lovers. Today local and foreigner become hot spring lovers too. It become a favorite retreat and recreational site among locals and international visitors.

8.00 AM – 6.00 PM.
Monday – Friday.
*) If you love quiet atmosphere then visit Banjar hot spring on weekdays. Don’t visit on weekend or Indonesian holiday.

*) As you can see the color of the water is not clear because of the sulphur mineral.

Child: IDR 5K.
*) I really love their price. It’s super cheap compare to Toya Devasya hot spring.

HOW TO GET TO AIR PANAS BANJAR HOT SPRING?
There is no direct public transport to get there.
*) For backpacker i recommend you to rent a scooter to reach this hot spring and use google map as your navigator.
*) You’re not allowed to be naked in the pool and don’t use any soap or shampoo in the pool.

Weak signal for your smartphone.
*) Use a Telkomsel SIM card for relative better service.
Some bathroom and toilet.
*) Better bring your own tissue, towel and swim suite.
Some shop, cafe and restaurant on the area.
*) On the third pool the hot water pouring from 3 meter height. It can be used for therapy or massage your body. You can pointing the water to the tired muscle on your body.
INTERNATIONAL TRAVELER ENJOY THE HOT SPRING
*) I really enjoy this cheap natural hot spring. It’s not only about the ticket price, but also it has nice surroundings like a tropical garden. Soaking, relax in the hot water was the best activities after the Lovina dolphin tour.

3. Cheap entry fee.
4. Natural hot spring.
5. Curing diseases (sulfuric water).
1. Crowded on weekend/tourist season.
2. Dirty look water color (sulfuric water).
3. Not too hot water.
4. Some visitors said it’s too expensive for visit a hot spring.
5. No public transport to here.
UPDATE STATUS OF BANJAR HOT SPRING:
OPEN FOR ANY VISITOR/TOURIST
*) Since March 26th, 2020 Banjar hot spring has been closed according to government instruction to avoid Corona spreads.
**) Since July 11th, 2020 Banjar hot spring has been officially open.
