More information about Bali public transportation system:

– Trans Sarbagita Bus Stop/Shelter/Halte.
– Batubulan Micro/Mini Bus Station.
– Ubung Micro/Mini Bus Station.
– Tegal Sari Micro/Mini Bus Station.

*) It’s really not efficient trip using public transport in Bali. Waste your time, energy and money. There is no fixed price in Bali transportation system, except Trans Sarbagita. If the passenger full loaded you will get the price above, but if quiet (little) passenger you will pay more expensive. Seems they applied operational cost basis since the public transport not so popular today (quiet).

**) For backpacker i recommend you to rent a scooter to reach this place and use google map as your navigator.

***) You can also use Go-jek or Grab online transport. Their price reasonable, but you have to install the apps first and the driver may not be able to speak English.

BADUNG MARKET NO PLASTIC POLICY

*) Last time i visited Badung Baru market, the seller still provide plastic bag. Seems the Bali government policy don’t know how to change the bad culture. Less research, no monitoring and no guidance to make it real or an effective policy is a clisse problem in Indonesia government.

OTHER INFORMATION:

MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL:
Strong signal for your smartphone.

CAFE/RESTAURANT:
There are some restaurant & cafe in the outside area.

RESTROOM/TOILET:
Yes.

*) Better bring your own pocket tissue.

BADUNG MARKET DIGITAL SCALE

*) Even the weight scamming is not not an issue in Bali, the Bali government provide this Digital scale for free to use. Also they provide a fire extinguisher too. I really impressed and appreciated this idea. In Java, the weight scamming and the market fire is the biggest issue.

HOW TO GET CHEAPER PRICE?

USE THESE TRICKS:
1. Bargain the price.
2. Pretend to leave the seller.

*) Always bargaining to get low price. Nothing to loose to try this trick. You can try ask 30%-50% of their first price.

**) After you bargain the price and you say “No, too expensive” and pretend to leave them. Sometime they will call you back and lowering their price by them selves. You can continue bargain until you get the price that you want (deal).

BADUNG MARKET ATM CENTER & LOCAL BANK

*) This one also the good things in Badung market. It makes easy for the seller saving their income money and easy for buyer to takes some money.

ANY USEFUL TIPS?

USE USEFUL TIPS:
1. Always bargain the price, don’t follow the seller price.
2. Don’t let the seller choose the product for you.

*) The price in here is not fixed price or not the last price. Please, bargain the price before you make a deal.

**) Don’t let the seller choose the fruit or product for you. Usually they will choose the spoiled or not ripped enough. Better you choose the product by your own. Elevate your knowledge about how to choose a good product.

BADUNG MARKET

*) This market located in the center of Denpasar. Badung market actually is a rebuild market and officially operates in March 2019. This market  still looks nice, dry and clean. Also the government build some facilities such as ATM spot, good and clean restroom, information center, fire extinguisher. Even they have digital scale free to use.

THE FRUIT AT BADUNG MARKET

*) I really enjoyed buy the fruits here. The quality is excellent and the price lower than supermarket price if you able bargain the price.
